Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Scene24 ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Scene24 platform at scene24.so (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Description of service

Scene24 is an AI-powered platform that generates cinematic advertisement videos for SaaS products. The Service allows users to submit product URLs, provide creative direction, and receive rendered video advertisements.

3. Account registration

  • You must authenticate via a supported OAuth provider (Google, GitHub, or Apple) to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User content and ownership

4.1 Your content

You retain all ownership rights to content you provide to the Service, including product URLs, images, text prompts, and brand assets ("User Content").

4.2 Generated content

Videos and other content generated by the Service using your inputs ("Generated Content") are owned by you. You may use Generated Content for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, without additional fees beyond your subscription.

4.3 License to us

By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license terminates when you delete your content or account.

4.4 Restrictions

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Create misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent advertisements.
  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates applicable laws.
  • Submit content depicting or promoting violence, hate speech, or exploitation.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service to third parties.

5. Subscription and payment

  • The Service offers free and paid subscription tiers. Pricing is displayed on our pricing page.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of a charge to request a refund.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

6. AI-generated content disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate video content. While we strive for high quality, AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, artifacts, or unexpected results. You are responsible for reviewing all Generated Content before publishing or distributing it.

We do not guarantee that Generated Content will be free from errors, suitable for any particular purpose, or compliant with advertising regulations in your jurisdiction.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by Scene24 and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our intellectual property except as expressly stated.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCENE24 SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scene24, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Service availability

  • We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
  • We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.
  • We reserve the right to discontinue the Service with 90 days' notice to active subscribers.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination through the Settings page.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea.

14. Changes to terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
