Getting started

Scene24 turns your SaaS website into a cinematic ad built from your real product screenshots. Paste a URL, answer a few questions while the film takes shape, then refine it by chat or in the motion editor.

Paste a URL

From the home screen, paste your product's public landing page URL, and add a short brief if you want a particular angle. Scene24 visits the page and reads its screenshots, colors, fonts, logo and marketing copy. That becomes the raw material for your ad.

Generation process

You watch every step live in the chat. Along the way, Scene24 stops to ask you before it commits:

• Brand: confirm the name, colors and logo it read from your site, or swap the logo.
• Footage: optionally upload a screen recording of your product (MP4, MOV or WebM).
• Reference: pick the style of film you want, when there are options to choose from.
• Storyboard: review the plan scene by scene, edit its lines or describe a change for a new storyboard, and approve it before the film is built.
• Sound: approve the music and voiceover.

Once you approve, Scene24 composes the film from your screenshots and plays it in the studio.

Editing your ad

There are two ways to change a finished film: describe the change in chat, or open it in the motion editor and change it by hand.

Chat-based editing

Keep typing in the same chat once the film is ready: “make the hook punchier”, “slow down the transition”, “use our brand blue for the headline”. Scene24 re-cuts the film with your change.

Motion editor

Choose “Open in the motion editor” under your film. Click any element on the canvas to select it, drag to move it, resize with the handles, and fine-tune color, type and timing in the inspector. The timeline holds your scenes and keyframes. What you see in the editor is what you export.

Exporting

Click “Export video” under your film in the studio. Scene24 renders an MP4, and “Download video” saves it when it is ready. Exports are 1080p on paid plans; on the Free plan they are 720p with a small “Made with Scene24” mark in the corner (see pricing).

Next to the button you choose how to export:

• Web (the default): a smaller file for posting and uploading, with lighter film grain.
• Original: the full film grain, at more than twice the file size.
• Aspect ratio: films are made in 16:9. When you have recomposed a film for another frame in the motion editor, such as 9:16 or 1:1, you can pick which cut to export.

The motion editor exports too: “Export” in its top bar renders the film as you have edited it, the same way.

Brand kit

Your workspace keeps a brand kit under Workspace settings, filled in from your site when you set the workspace up. You can edit the brand name, URL, tagline and positioning there, and refresh the colors and fonts by reading your site again. Each new ad still reads your site fresh, and you confirm the brand at the start of every run.
